MMG Facilities

Bridgeside Point II

In December of 2009, the department's Chairman, administrative personnel and the majority of the department's faculty and research labs were relocated from the Thomas E. Starzl Biomedical Science Tower in Oakland to a newly constructed facility, called Bridgeside Point II. MMG occupies the 4th and 5th floors of the building. The space houses the Chairman's office, administrative suite, faculty offices, research laboratories, common departmental research equipment areas, seminar rooms, conference rooms and common gathering areas.

Biomedical Science Tower 3

Biomedical Science Tower 3 opened in 2005. Within the 10-story, 330,000-square-foot facility, world-class scientists from an array of disciplines pool their expertise, extend the reach of their individual resources, and participate in discoveries that advance scientific understanding. The tower was engineered to facilitate coordinated research in the areas of neurosciences, vaccine development, drug discovery, regenerative medicine and biomedical devices, and basic science disciplines.
